The news that the Thomson Local directory went into administration yesterday was no surprise. Obviously I wish the people who lost their jobs well, but the future of print directories looks pretty bleak.
Is anyone with a smartphone really going to go and find a copy of Thomson or Yellow Pages when they can search for whatever they want immediately? No, I don’t think so.
